Chris, a St. Louis native, began his musical journey at the age of seven with classical piano. By 10, he was already performing on the organ at his local church. His high school years brought a new dimension to his music when he was introduced to jazz. Joining the school’s jazz band, he quickly gained recognition, earning the "Best Soloist" award at a regional High School Jazz Band Competition in his junior year and the prestigious "Louis Armstrong Jazz Award" as a senior.

In 2006, Chris pursued a degree in jazz performance at the University of Denver, studying under renowned pianist Eric Gunnison. Over the course of four years, he developed a diverse musical style, performing with a wide range of bands. Chris has since composed countless original pieces, showcasing his ability to blend genres and innovate within his music. His compositions have become a staple of his performances across Colorado, where he has built a reputation for his dynamic and engaging musical contributions.

He regularly performs at events throughout the state, bringing his unique flair and energy to each performance.
